Canagrosa celebrates 10 years of ENAC accreditation in equipment calibration
Canagrosa is celebrating. This 2024 marks 10 years since the laboratory in Seville was accredited in equipment calibration by ENAC, National Accreditation Entity.
Excellence and quality in equipment calibration
In 1985, Canagrosa was born as an analysis laboratory, with the aim of becoming a reference in the industrial sector and, in 1992, we obtained ENAC accreditation for testing, a voluntary seal that we considered fundamental for positioning ourselves as a quality laboratory in line with our strategy to participate in the aeronautical market, which was achieved 5 years later, in 1997.
The next step was ENAC accreditation in equipment calibration to expand the portfolio of value-added services and establish a unique laboratory that could perform all types of tests, in addition to calibrating measuring equipment. In this case, it was mandatory to have ENAC accreditation to carry out this activity.
The accreditation process was complex, as the company had to demonstrate technical capacity on one hand, and on the other hand, it was essential to have a highly qualified professional team. It is important to note that ENAC carries out a very demanding accreditation at all levels and with experts of the highest qualification in each field.
After all the checks, on June 20, 2014, which marks 10 years today, Canagrosa obtained accreditation in the calibration of "mass" equipment and, subsequently, other families were added: dimensional, DC and low-frequency electricity, temperature and humidity, force, torque and load tests, pressure, hardness, and others. Canagrosa, a pioneer company in Comprehensive Metrological Management
It is worth noting that in 2016, Canagrosa was a pioneer in Spain in obtaining accreditation for meters and standards of electrical conductivity in metals. It was also a national pioneer in obtaining ISO 9001 certification for metrological management at client facilities in 2008. Currently, there are 32 professionals from the company providing this service to clients throughout Spain. The service includes:
